Biltmore Who's Who would like to take this opportunity and introduce Kara Diehl
as an honored VIP Members of the 2007 Executive Registry.
Ms. Diehl was honored among Executive Women in business in January and offered membership into the Biltmore Who's Who organization. In May she was then selected from over 1000 candidates as a VIP member. Her featured biography will print in the 2008 Biltmore Who's Who Registry of Executives and Professionals Exclusive Edition.
Founded in 2001, K Adornments is currently owned by Kara Diehl, a Cypress, TX resident and mother of two young boys. K Adornments offers Scripture Bracelets that tell a biblical story and truly one-of-a-kind Decorative Wall Crosses made with gems and stones created by Kara. These unique crosses are owned throughout the country and have been purchased by celebrities. As an artist by invitation, Kara's Crosses and Jewelry were also displayed at Eastman Gallery on North Post Oak in Houston this summer.
Kara changed the focus of the business in 2006 as she sought to balance her commitment to her faith with her creative talents. In doing so, the company has evolved from customized jewelry to scripture~inspired products. "The new direction was exactly where I needed to be personally and luckily the sales trend in my little niche of the market seems to agree as I struggled at the beginning to meet demand." (Ms. Diehl in January of 2007).
As part of its expansion phase, the company has recently gone national offering select products. She describes the secret to her success to be "twofold...first and foremost staying true to scripture by making sure the bracelet stories I create are biblically correct and secondly providing desirable, high quality products that draw attention." She is honest, however, about the challenges of running a business from her home.
Around the globe, women executives and entrepreneurs face challenges in balancing career and family, "Kara is one of those" Continued Success from Biltmore Who's Who.
