Biltmore Who's Who Selects Edna Johnson as this week's Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry for 2009.

Edna Johnson, owner of Johnson's Bookkeeping and Tax Service, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Edna Johnson's commitment to excellence in the fields of bookkeeping and tax preparation.

Opening its doors in August 1996, Johnson has built up her home-based business to include both bookkeeping/payroll duties for a number of businesses, as well as tax preparation for corporations, partnerships and individual clients.

After retiring from her government job after years of service working with people, she went in a different direction by assisting the public with their bookkeeping and tax needs. "I have always enjoyed working with people," she explained. "My success is based on my diligence to learn all the new rules and laws and advise my clients of the best avenue for them to take for their particular situation."

For those companies that Johnson does their books for, her main priority is to complete their bookkeeping by compiling all the necessary data and payroll promptly and efficiently. For her tax clients, she focuses on preparing their returns in an effort to obtain the most refund legally possible for them.

Johnson works hard to serve both old and new clients with the utmost professionalism, to both satisfy them and to increase her client base. She also strives to improve her knowledge of the accounting and tax regulations and guides on a regular basis.

Mrs. Johnson is a certified Notary Public. She is a member of Rineyville Baptist Church and volunteers for a variety of activities.
