Biltmore Who's Who Selects Gail Ruth as this week's Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry for 2009.
Gail Ruth, artist and art consultant of Gail Ruth Fine Art, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Gail Ruth's commitment to excellence in the field of professional coaching.
Beginning her career in 1987 as a student, Ruth studied art from many renowned professionals in the business throughout the United States, studying master techniques of her favorite style, oil painting.
Ruth, who's studio is based out of her home, uses the "old master techniques" to create each of her pieces. As a consultant, she writes and designs instructional oil and acrylic painting packets and produces oil painting instructional videos. She also teaches ongoing art lessons at two different locations, her at-home studio just outside of Baton Rouge in Central City, and at Hobby Lobby Store in Baton Rouge. She teaches at local and national workshops throughout the United States to individuals from twelve years old and up, and often holds art seminars to demonstrate her techniques at various art organizations, clubs and schools in the area.
With the hopes of gaining more recognition in her field, Ruth plans to continue writing and producing art instructional videos and books to help other future artists become more developed. Her experience, which boasts twenty-two years of painting and over fifteen years of teaching, is inspiring. "I have a love for art, a creativity of painting what I see through my travels and in my dreams," she explained. "I love teaching art and meeting other artists around the country. Meeting and studying with them have inspired me to become the artist and art instructor I am today."
Ruth is a member of the Central Art League and is the recipient of numerous awards and honorable mention awards in her field for fine art oil paintings, including the New Roads City Flag Award.
Using her knowledge of art in all mediums and techniques, you can find many of Ms. Ruth's artwork displays throughout southern Louisiana and Mississippi at various solo and gallery art exhibitions. For more information on Gail's artwork, visit http://www.gailruthfineart.com.
