
Biltmore Who's Who Selects Richard "Buddy" Bradley as this week's Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry for 2009.
Richard Bradley, a retired medical imaging consultant, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Richard Bradley's commitment to excellence in the healthcare industry.
Bradley, who received is Bachelor's of Science degree in healthcare administration from Vernell University, followed by training Southwestern Medical School, School of Radiologic Technology, has worked in the healthcare industry for over 35 years. He currently does consulting work in his spare time since retirement.
Bradley began his career as a clinical instructor and member of the trauma team at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas. From there he became a supervisor at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, than later accepted a position as administrative director of radiology at Nan Travis Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, becoming the chairman of the disaster committee. He then acted as general manager to over fourteen medical imaging centers throughout the Greater Houston area, where he was asked to serve on the Board of Regents of Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena. Nine years later, Bradley began working for Med Relief Staffing, making his way up to Vice-President, responsible for the staffing of medical personnel in hospitals and clinics across a number cities and states. His career came to a close six years later, after deciding to retire and take on some part-time consulting work with some local healthcare facilities.
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, Bradley has made many notable accomplishments throughout the course of his career. He helped land a $1.6 billion budget, with the help of two corporate vice-presidents, for the construction of a foreign hospital during his stay with San Jacinto Methodist (a part of the Methodist Healthcare System that is also affiliated with Nan Travis). He was also instrumental in leading Med Relief Staffing to becoming recognized in the Houston 100 club as one of Houston's best companies for two consecutive years and becoming inducted into the INC 500.
Bradley is a member of numerous organizations, including the Dallas Society of Radiologic Technologist, Texas Society of Radiologic Technologist, American Society of Radiologic Technologist, American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, East Texas Society of Radiologic Technologist, Houston Area Society of Radiologic Technologist, Bay Area Medical Imaging Society and the Association of Governing Boards of Colleges and Universities. He has served on the board for the Malibu Landowners Association, Tyler Junior College School of Radiologic Technologist, East Texas Radiologic Society, Tyler Tabernacle, New Life Praise Center and Texas Chiropractic College. He's also the winner of the Director's Award from the Texas Department of Public Safety. In his spare time, Richard enjoys fishing and spending his time with the Church Bus Ministry.
