
Biltmore Who's Who is delighted to recognize Sharon A. Hitzelberg as a Professional Business Woman of Biltmore Who's Who 2007 Registry.
For the past 32 years Sharon has provided outstanding service at the Department of Justice within the Environment and Natural Resources Division. Her work involved environmental law in coordinating case related matters with the client agencies, courts, the Justice Management Division, Hill, management, staff attorneys and support staff at headquarters in Washington, DC and field offices across the country. She moved along her career path from the Business and Statistical Unit, Head Secretary, Legal Data Tech ~ ultimately as Supervisory Case Management Specialist for the Natural Resources Section. She was selected and served twelve years on a committee and was awarded the Just Works Award for her contributions for a Integrated Case Management System improving operations of the United States Department of Justice.
She was frequently called on as she pursued difficult challenges of the job while at the same time dealing with the challenges of multiple sclerosis for 30 of those 32 years, always with a never give up attitude ~ a drive to make a difference.
Those same work ethics are now for the past year devoted to assisting homeowners create Home Improvements through Empire Today one of her lifetime interests ~ while weekly volunteering at Inova Commonwealth Care Center in Fairfax, Va with our elderly providing much needed assistance.
