Brenda E. Floyd


Biltmore Who's Who Selects Brenda E. Floyd as this week's Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry for 2009.

Brenda E. Floyd, a retired special education teacher from Norfolk Public Schools has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Brenda E. Floyd's commitment to excellence in the education field.

Brenda E. Floyd taught life skills to students with learning disabilities and the equitably mentally retarded. Beginning her teaching career in 1987, she taught preschool students, and later jumped on board with Norfolk Public Schools five years later, working in the Special Education Department where she remained for the next ten years. Prior to her teaching career, Mrs. Floyd was taught voice, piano and organ lessons in the early 1970's through the 1990's., winning numerous talent show awards. She currently works as a wedding planner, which dates back to 1994.

Brenda is also an inspirational author, speaker and gospel singer. She plans to become a well-known author someday, touching those lives who think that they just can't go on. She is the author of a book titled "Free At Last To Do God's Will", expected for release in November, 2009 through Tate Publishing Company. The book tells the story of her life, her struggles and how God helped her through. She is an ordained evangelist and is currently working on her first CD. She is a firm believer that "If you let go and let God, you can do anything you put your mind to".

Brenda earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business in 1979 from Kee's Business College at Norfolk State University, followed by a Bachelor's in Education at Norfolk State University in 1983. She is the winner of a Faculty Appreciation Award and Singing Award from Norfolk Public School, as well as an Award for Services Provided for Special Needs Students.

Brenda E. Floyd is a devoted wife of 29 years to Walter Floyd, a mother of three and grandmother of six. She resides in Norfolk, Virginia. In her spare time she enjoys reading, song writing, story writing and shopping.

Philip DeStefano



Biltmore Who's Who Selects Philip DeStefano as this week's Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry for 2009.

Philip DeStefano, President of New Operations at Fleetwash, Inc., Flemington, New Jersey, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Philip DeStefano's commitment to excellence in the Transportation and Distribution industry.

Philip DeStefano's experience in the transportation/distribution industry began in 1980, when he purchased the seven-year-old franchise. Beginning his operation with only truck, he was able to build his business into a nationwide company serving 43 states with 58 locations and 700 trucks across the country, being the largest, environmentally friendly, mobile truck-washing entity in the United States.

As President, Philip is responsible for the management of all national accounts, the development of new business opportunities, new acquisitions and Greenfield opportunities. His business handles isolation, collection, safe transportation and final elimination of all wash water involved in their vehicle washing process without violating environmental regulations.

In 1996, Fleetwash was honored with an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Award, which he credits to the founding partners. Fleetwash was also given a First Place Award in 2001 from Orange County, Florida's Environmental Protection Division for the proper disposal of wastewater effluent, in a large business category.

Philip is a graduate of North Hunterdon Regional High School in Annandale, New Jersey. He is a current member of the Flemington Elks and past-trustee. He is also a past chairman of the Social and Community Welfare Committee, where he has raised thousands of dollars for the Women’s Crisis Center, Scholarship Funds and National Service for the Veterans.

In his spare time, Philip enjoys golf, boating and travel.

Jeffrey T. Schultz

Jeffrey T. Schultz's experience in the financial industry dates back to more than 15 years. As Senior Vice-President, he and his staff provide tailored investment and retirement planning solutions to current and former executives of the Fortune 1000. His clients have come from the likes of Georgia Pacific, IBM, Coca Cola, Cisco, Bellsouth/AT&T and Hewlett Packard.

Jeffrey currently holds a BS degree in finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and is a certified financial planner (CFP). He also promotes the Farmer School of Business and Athletic Department of Miami University.

He has two children, Caroline and Palmer, and enjoys playing golf, basketball and skiing in his is spare time.

Gina L. Smith

Gina L. Smith, Director of Project Management at Accel, Inc., has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Gina L. Smith's commitment to excellence in the packaging industry.

Gina L. Smith has been in the packaging industry for more than ten years. As Director, she is a part of the company's overall account management team, which includes near market, WBE, marketing and the project management office. In addition to having a background in project management, leadership, relationships, process development and implementation, she has dedicated her career to driving efficiency and constant improvement in order to guarantee accountability to her clients.
