Biltmore Who's Who Selects Susan Arent as this week's Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry for 2009.

Susan Arent, distributor for Xango, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Susan Arent's commitment to excellence in the sales and healthcare industries.

Xango is a company that promotes health and wellness through the use of nutritional products, specifically, a juice drink made from the mangosteen fruit. Arent has been working for the company for just over two years.

Arent decided to represent the company, saying it was a "no-brainer," after learning about their products through a friend. She spent countless hours doing research, and made up her mind to help herself and others improve their quality of life with a more natural and holistic approach. Their juice product, she says, is made from xanthones, which comes from the mangosteen fruit. One of the benefits, she says, is that it helps kill cancer cells. After losing both of her parents and her sister from various types of cancer, she said, "It hit me like a ton of bricks of how short life can be. It made me more passionate about educating people about this wonderful little fruit."

Ms. Arent's part-time effort quickly became her full-time passion. After giving up her nine-to-five corporate job for an at-home position to work for Xango, she couldn't be happier. She loves the fact that she can be a stay-at-home mom and still earn a living doing what she loves and believes in. "If I can keep one more mother at home to be there when their kids get home from school, it's worth all the effort," Arent said.

As a distributer, Arent lends her knowledge to others on natural ways to heal the body. She explains that normal eating and drinking, combined with the stress of life, causes individuals to be bombarded by free radicals that are unpaired and unstable. "Free radicals can damage cells and are believed to accelerate the progression of cancer, cardiovascular disease and age-related diseases," she explains. She further says that Xango Mangosteen juice is "not magic or miracle, but a natural, holistic approach to staying healthy."

Susan Arent holds an AA in Computer Management. She is a member of the Women's Small Business Association and a junior member of the Women's Club of Allegheny County. She is also a member of Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church. In her spare time, she enjoys reading self-development books, spending time outdoors, camping, fishing and skiing.
