Biltmore Who's Who Selects Lisa Chase as this week's Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry for 2009.

Lisa Chase, Director, Sport Sciences and Medicine, Athletic Care for Sony Ericsson WTA Tour has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Lisa Chase's commitment to excellence in the sports, entertainment and healthcare industries.

Chase's entrepreneur spirit and love for teaching brought her many opportunities during her 18 year career. Chase has worked in a variety of clinical settings including owning Back to Normal Physical Therapy, Inc. where she provides expertise in physical therapy with particular interest in manual therapy, aquatic therapy, orthopedic and sports medicine. Over the past 9 years of working for the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour, Chase has worked closely with athletes and medical teams around the world bringing cutting edge services and programs to the field. As Director, Chase is responsible for development and management of medical documentation systems and athlete care programs and services. She has also served as the Primary Health Care Provider for the International Tennis Federation during the 2004 Olympics.

Mrs. Chase is an Adjunct Professor at Michigan State University, in the College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she has been an instructor since 1998. She has conducted press and television interviews, has been a speaker at internationally conferences and contributes to publications including several books on Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation. Chase is a member of the Orthopedic and Women's Section of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Society for Tennis Medicine and Science.

Chase received her Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh in 1991 and a post graduate certification in advanced orthopedic manual therapy in 1995.

Lisa
recently completed a 100 mile Century ride for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in honor of her brother Gregg, who has Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Through her Team in Training endeavor Lisa was recognized as a top fundraiser which contributes to helping support research and treatments to help cure blood cancers. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys cycling, traveling, music and spending time with close friends and family.
