Biltmore Who's Who Selects Cheryl L. Howard as this week's Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry for 2009.
Cheryl L. Howard, author and screenplay writer for Strategic Book Group, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Biltmore Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Cheryl L. Howards's commitment to excellence in the book publishing industry.
Cheryl L. Howard, a scriptwriter of children's books and screenplays, has been working in the writing industry for the past 14 years, after being published for the first time in 1995. Her numerous books can be found in several different languages across the country.
Lending her talent and creativity to the works of some incredible screenplays, Howard has written Love's Cruse and H.P. The Early Years, as well as several books and animated scripts including: My Little Teddy Buddy, Duster Dustbunny and Mikhael the Mighty. Dustbunny and Mikhael, both published by Strategic Book Group, just hit stands, and can be found on Amazon.com or at Barnes and Noble Book Stores. Dustbunny is an educational book that teaches children the days of the week and months of the year, while Mighty inspires children to be true to who they are in their hearts and to work hard for your goals to live happily ever after. "So far," Howard said, "every school that has seen [Duster Dustbunny] wants to order the books." She said it is the only book in the world that "effectively teaches the days of the week and the months of the year."
In addition to the release of Dustbunny and Mighty, Howard is also working on several other projects, including Twilight Sun, It's Turtle Time, Victimology Worlds End Comics and My Little Teddy Buddy, which will be in stores between 2010-11. She also hopes to turn her screenplays and books into films sometime in the near future.
Cheryl has an equivalent to an MBA, as well as a BBA in Human Resources from Tarleton State University in 2003, and an AA in Computer Graphics from TCC Community College/International Correspondence School in 1991. She is actively involved in her community, volunteering for the needy and homeless and for the Special Olympics. She also donates to the local Family Crisis Center and International Correspondences. She enjoys movies, arts and crafts, gardening, interior design and mentoring young writers in her free time.
